Dance, Acting, & Musical Theatre Instructor, Director/Choreographer
Jessica has taught ages 3 - Adult for the past 11 years throughout Northern New Jersey. She brings years of performance experience to the classroom with professional credits that include Graziella in the European Tour of West Side Story, Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, Mitzi and Dance Captain in Crazy for You, and Texas in Cabaret. Other favorites include: La Cage Aux Folles, Damn Yankees, Grease, and Little Women. Off Broadway, Jessica appeared in Marcus is Walking, Cotton Girls, The Brothers Menaechmus, Lives of the Great Waitresses, Spooktacular 2000, and The Great Debate. She also danced the original choreography for PBS’s special of A Chorus Line with the Naples Philharmonic. She choreographed and directed a mainstage production of Chicago for Otterbein College as well as dance sequences for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for Cleveland Signstage. Jessica recently worked with the Summit Playhouse, Directing and Choreographing Frozen Jr., and Choreographing Elf Jr. and Violet. She received her B.F.A. in Acting from Otterbein College.
Courtney Hirschey has served as Musical Director for Frozen Jr. and Elf Jr. (Summit Playhouse), as well as The Little Mermaid Jr., Honk Jr., Mary Poppins, Little Shop of Horrors, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Annie, and The Wizard of Oz (NP Rec Dept). She also worked as Musical Director for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (AWR Theatre Week). Most recently, she has collaborated Writing/Co-Directing/Musical Directing The Wiz-Zoom of Oz, for Performing Arts With J&C. She has also enjoyed teaching private piano lessons within Union County, NJ.
Natalie Pereira will graduate from Syracuse University in May of 2021 with a B.A. in Music with Performance Honors, a B.A. in English and Textual Studies, and a member of the Reneé Crown Honors Program. In her time at Syracuse, Natalie served three years as Music Director of her a cappella group, Groovestand; has been Section Leader and Student Leader in two choirs; performed a Junior and Senior Recital; and is writing the book, music, and lyrics for an original musical, which was her Senior Honors Capstone project. She was Music Director of Bye Bye Birdie at the Summit Playhouse (Summer 2018) and was Assistant Producer there for High School Musical and Grease (Summer 2019). Favorite performance roles include Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Ensemble of Godspell . She was born and raised in New Providence, NJ, and is excited to be involved in the arts so close to home!
